Vessel Fluid Transfer Hose Solutions (Click for details)

Our hose solutions for both on and offshore media transfer cover everything from drill cutting extraction to LPG transfer. We support ship to skip activity, with hoses designed to support mud management activities such as drill bit coolant systems and drilling waste ship to skip delivery.

Kiowa also works with it’s clients to provide floating hose tandem solutions, for vessel to vessel media transfer. Shuttle tankers and storage vessels can be fitted with permanent hose reel solutions for safely and effectively dispensing a hose to the corresponding vessel.

Further, clients can also use our services to obtain portable water hose solutions whether it’s ship to shore or ship to rig, we are able to provide on and offshore fluid transfer solutions to meet your exact needs. Further we also support the offshore industry by providing EN1765 compliant oil transfer hose solutions, with a broad range of oil hose fittings also available.

Floating & Submarine Hose Solutions (Click for details)

Kiowa works with it’s clients in the offshore industry to provide floating hose solutions that comply with GMPHOM2009, BSEN1765, & BSEN1762 standards. With their excellent floating capabilities Kiowa uses Alfagommas’ offshore Safewave hoses. The offshore floating hose systems we use for our clients, can operate at depths of up to 80m with more advanced solutions for deep water also available. The Safewave floating hoses can also be designed to weathervane around buoys during periods of vessel mooring, reducing the risk of breakaway and unnecessary stress on the system. The Safeway system offers construction options using five core design types, with each hose variation catering for rigid manifold connection, increased flexion, main connection, MBC and tail hose fitting strength and weight.

Kiowa also offers a range of submarine hose solutions by Alfagomma. These hose transfer systems can be attached to buoy manifolds located on the surface, where the hose is suspended down to connect up with apparatus on the sea bed. For instance when connecting hoses to subsea pipelines, we can provide submersible negatively buoyant hose strings that will traverse the line from a tanker manifold to the pipelines on the seabed.

Floating Hose Assembly Strings (Click for details)

Kiowa possesses additional expertise when it comes to designing and supplying floating hose assembly strings. Our floating hose assembly strings by Alfagomma, are designed to be combined with MCBs (Marine Breakaway Couplings), where the hose string will safely detach under significant tension. Hose strings provide an ideal solution during the extraction and discharge process of oil, mud and water from an SPM (Single Point Mooring) buoy to either a vessel or the sea shore.
