As Kiowa Ltd is a business selling goods and materials used in factories, utilities and production environments. Few goods, if any, are suitable for consumer use and therefore we operate on the understanding that people using the site, or applying for an account with us, are doing so for business purposes. Therefore we make the reasonable assumption that visitors to our site are incorporated business customers and we operate under the rules and regulations that apply in the Business to Business environment.

If you are a private individual, including sole trader, member of a partnership or other non-incorporated organisation, you must advise us that you a not representing an incorporated business. By default this will automatically exclude you from all B2B marketing campaigns and any application for a credit account will be refused. On confirming you are a private individual we will make all efforts to ensure we treat you and your information with all additional care and attention as required under UK law.

What information do we collect?

If you make an order with us, there is certain personal information which we will require in order to process your order (such as name, company name, billing address and shipping address, bank details, e-mail address and telephone number.)

The only 3rd parties we will pass your details onto will be those who it is essential for your order, for example your address to the carrier of your order in order for it to be delivered. Under no circumstances do we sell or rent any personal information which you supply to us to any third parties.

Powered and designed by Microsoft, the embedded online forms used on our website can securely capture personal information, only where users have voluntarily agreed to share this information with Kiowa Ltd. Note: Where users enter their personal details into one of our online forms (For instance, we use embedded Microsoft forms to manage and process our online catalogue orders.), data population of any form field will be considered as one’s full agreement to their details being captured. From time to time we may ask you to complete a survey in order to improve our service to our customers, but you do not have to oblige.

IP Addresses and Cookies.

We will use your Internet Protocol (IP) Address. An IP Address is a set of numbers, which is assigned to your computer when connected to a network or to the internet. Where to we keep your information?

Kiowa operates both a Blog and Forum, and a Facebook page, Kiowa takes no responsibility for comments posted by users on any online community, but where possible will endeavour to monitor comments and ensure that offensive comments will not be represented.

There should be no exchange of secure information via the Blog and Forum and any issues with orders, should be taken up directly with the Kiowa team via telephone. This ensures your issue will be dealt with as a matter of urgency.

And instructions will be represented at the bottom of each of our e-mails. Or you can choose to let us know in writing or via telephone.

Access to information:

You are entitled to information kept on our system about you, and your business. And we ask you to keep us informed of any necessary changes to keep information accurate and up to date. If you require a copy of all information kept on the system about yourselves you must e-mail dp@kiowa.co.uk and inform them of your request. You may also send a request to us in writing. Access to information is strictly on a personal data basis and does not include company information. Kiowa Ltd reserve the right yo charge a small handling fee when applicable.
