The Growing Importance of Site Surveys
With the ever-rising cost of energy, the outdated belief that ‘there will be leaks’ in pneumatic systems is giving way to a proactive mindset. Our surveys identify areas of inefficiency, quantify their significance using industry leading equipment to guide your priorities, and offer detailed step-by-step instructions to put them right.
Our thorough energy audit examines every aspect of your compressed air system, from its source in the compressor room to its utilisation on the production line, accounting for variables such as compressor types, operating pressures, and filtration requirements. We prioritise addressing leaks, which can lead to substantial energy loss. Adhering to ISO11011:2013 standards ensure a consistent approach, delivering comprehensive insights into energy consumption, documented findings, and projections of potential savings. Emphasising the importance of regular audits, integrated into a continuous improvement strategy, we aim for sustained efficiency enhancements. Read on to find out what makes our site-audits stand out, some of our industry leading equipment, what you receive and what we can do for you post-audit.

Free Consultation
We acknowledge that our site surveys may not be suitable for everyone. Recognising that some businesses operate with exceptional efficiency, we prioritise your time and resources. Before proceeding with our audits, we conduct an initial on-site assessment to ensure our visit is worthwhile and value for money.

Our Audit
Kiowa’s expertise and abundance of experience and the collaboration with Festo result in comprehensive, expert on-site audits, usually taking a few days. These audits are conducted using the latest Festo technological innovation giving us unique technical insights into energy, and financial inefficiency.

The Results
Once our surveys are complete, we provide an easy to digest yet comprehensive report, not only highlighting where inefficiencies lie, but demonstrating step-by-step instructions on how to maximise your ROI and reduce your carbon footprint. Our reports include site detailed maps, graphs, tables crafted to make understanding your site simple.
Industry Leading Technology
Our site-surveys are conducted using industry leading technology in partnership with Festo. Two we utilise that embody this standard are the Air Flow Analyser and the Dew Point Gun.
The Air Flow Analyser combines flexibility in flow rate and pressure measurement with the convenience of a portable device. With seamless data transfer to a PC and included operating software, analysis and documentation are made effortless and easy to understand. Secure storage in the provided carrying case ensures tidy organisation and easy access. Meanwhile, our Dew Point Gun sets a new standard in portable dew point measurement. Its 3.5″ touch screen display simplifies operation, while its ability to graphically indicate measuring curves provides invaluable insights. With a vast storage capacity of up to 100 million measured values, along with convenient data transfer via USB stick and evaluation using CS Soft Basic software, it’s the ultimate tool for precise analysis and reporting.
Clear, Visual Reports
Our site survey reports are meticulously crafted, offering unparalleled detail and insight into your energy efficiency journey. With up to 50 pages of in-depth analysis, our reports provide a comprehensive overview of your system’s performance. Through visually engaging graphs, charts, and tables, we present findings in a clear and accessible manner, ensuring easy comprehension and enabling you to identify inefficiencies with ease.
Our reports not only highlight areas for improvement but also quantify the potential savings in both kilowatt-hours (kWh) and pounds (£). From pinpointing exact locations of inefficiencies to outlining actionable steps for improvement, our reports serve as a roadmap to enhanced efficiency and reduced energy costs.
With our detailed and easily digestible reports, the next steps towards optimising your energy usage and the ROI from doing so, are crystal clear, empowering you to make informed decisions and achieve tangible results. Our Festo tags allow staff to walk around site, making instant connections between references in your reports and the different stages of your processes.

Carbon Emissions Targets
In addition to the immediate cost and energy savings our site surveys provide, they also represent a significant step towards environmental sustainability. By optimising systems for efficiency, we not only reduce operational expenses but also minimise carbon footprints. Furthermore, our energy-saving audits carry weight as official accreditation, serving as compelling evidence during ISO audits.
ISO Certification
Furthermore, our detailed site surveys go beyond providing insights; they pave the way for accreditation under ISO 11011:2013. This international standard establishes stringent requirements for conducting and reporting the outcomes of a compressed air system assessment, encompassing the entire system from energy inputs to the resulting work performed. By choosing our services, you position yourself to not only address inefficiencies but also attain accreditation that signifies a commitment to energy efficiency and industry best practices.
Furthermore, our energy-saving audits carry weight as official accreditation, serving as compelling evidence during ISO audits.
A completed site audit also aligns with 9, 12 and 13 of the 17 Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Sustainable Development plan from the United Nations.
